In one of the largest private sector lettings this year in Liverpool city centre, UK Land & Property and Pochin have announced stockbroker and investment management firm, Blankstone Sington as the latest occupier to sign up to Exchange Flags.
Blankstone Sington is relocating from Duke Street to take approximately 929 sq m (10,000 sq ft) on the top floor of Walker House. Exchange Flags is already home to a list of high profile occupiers including, Brabners Chaffe Street, Regus and Deloittes.
Ian Sherry, development director of UK Land & Property commented: "Blankstone Sington’s choice to relocate here is testament to the significant investment we have made over the last two years and perfectly complements the profile of our existing occupiers. Despite a challenging economic climate, Exchange Flags is still welcoming new high profile businesses who want an exceptional address and office environment to match."
Ken Conolly, Chief Executive of Blankstone Sington added: "Blankstone Sington is Liverpool’s only independent stockbroking and investment management firm and has been managing investments in this city for many years. With a strong and loyal client base, the firm has continued to grow over the years and we believe now the time is right to establish a presence in the heart of Liverpool’s business district."
David Porter, joint managing partner, Knight Frank, joint agents for the scheme with Keppie Massie, added: "This is great news for Walker House and underlines the impressive tenant profile there is at The Flags. From the high level of interest we have had from potential occupiers, we are confident the list of tenants will increase over the coming months."
Keppie Massie and Knight Frank represented and CBRE acted on behalf of Blankstone Sington.
