Exchange Flags welcomes Ridge

10 November 08

Following Ridge's acquisition of Walfords in July this year, the quantity surveyor has signed up to Horton House at Exchange Flags.

Ridge has taken 279 sq m (3,000 sq ft) of office accommodation on the eighth floor of Horton House, which includes a host of high profile occupiers including Deloittes, Knight Frank, Brabners Chaffe Street. The scheme is also home to architects practice, Ryders, which took 372 sq m (4,000 sq ft) of space last month.

On the letting, Simon Parker, managing director, UK Land and Property, commented: "To have secured so many lettings and to such a high calibre of tenants is testament to the offer we have created at Exchange Flags. Ridge's decision to locate its Liverpool office at the Flags further underlines that and we are looking forward to welcoming a number of other occupiers to Exchange Flags over the coming months."

Tony Reed of Keppie Massie, joint agents for Exchange Flags with King Sturge, concluded: "This impressive refurbishment has completely transformed Exchange Flags into, what is now regarded by many, Liverpool's premier office address. Few schemes in the city can boast a tenant profile such as this and has, in turn, helped attracted businesses, which are dissatisfied with their current accommodation."

The 160,000 sq ft Horton House is now completely refurbished and work is ongoing on the 300,000 sq ft Walker House next door, which was acquired in August 2007 and is partly pre-let to the Ministry of Defence.
